“Holy Hell” I’m taking some LIBERTIES most certainly but Edward Meadham and Benjamin Kirchhoff have stolen my heart with their sky-rocketing ode to Tibetan-Grunge-Teen-Angst in this season’s collection. Referencing Courtney Love (I prefer the general consideration of Genghis Khan’s teenage girlfriend) as a primary muse, these two have once again slayed London with their Ode to Delicate Destruction. The only veil I’ve ever seen that’s ever made me want to get married. TO SATAN. I JEST! In all seriousness, these men have love and talent dripping from their over-saturated pores, thank GODS they are in this game, they will continue to climb higher and higher amidst the sea of fashion-slingers. Styled exquisitely by the desperately gifted Jason Farrer, Meadham Kirchoff AW 10/11 will lead you to that Himalayan Paradise, armed with smoky veils, glitter-crusted bracelets and nubby Llama-skins; if ever there was a clothes-shaped map to Shangri-La, this is what it would look like.
